In this comprehensive BHPH General Management training, current and prospective general managers will learn the critical operational drivers necessary to running a successful BHPH Dealership. As a result, GMs will return to their dealerships with a written action plan and the basic skills needed to implement proven operational processes. With this knowledge, they will immediately impact the development of a winning team.
During this training, attendees will develop a playbook for the following business operations:
- Talent Acquisition and Retention
- Understand how to interview, onboard, motivate, compensate, and coach key personnel in all operational departments.
- Service Department
- Reduce reconditioning costs by increasing shop efficiencies;
- Improve portfolio performance while reducing policy and warranty costs by effectively managing the post-sale customer service experience.
- Sales Department
- Coach and motivate sales associates to develop their leads;
- Effectively train your sales team to work their leads and increase traffic through improved show rates;
- Install and manage a sales and underwriting process that will increase sales volume and the quality of the deals in your portfolio.
- Collection Department
- Recognize red flags in your portfolio and what to do about them once they’re discovered;
- Coach and motivate your collectors to be “problem resolution managers” instead of money takers.
- Compliance and Self Auditing
- Effectively install and manage an accountability program to review all phases of your operations every month.
About Your Instructor:
The class is led by Industry expert Ben Goodman, NIADA Senior 20 Group Moderator, Trainer, and Consultant. Ben has spent nearly 30 years training and leading high-achieving sales teams in the subprime and BHPH markets, including 11 years with the nation's largest BHPH franchise.
